Sooke & Juan de Fuca Health Foundation 50/50 Draw raised over $1000
Sooke & Juan de Fuca Health Foundation (SJDFHF) obtained specific approval from BC Gaming to name the Sooke Food Bank as a recipient of half the proceeds of their February 50/50 Draw. Additionally, the winner Ernestina Wilson from Port Renfrew is donating back $216 of her winnings, for a total donation of $1036. These funds received from the raffle and private donation will be used to support our clients with special dietary requirements, such as Diabetes and Celiac Disease. We are very grateful to be the latest recipient of the Sooke & Juan De Fuca Health Foundation’s 50/50 Draw.
Daniel’s Market raised over $1200
From January 5-18, Daniel’s Market gave away free drip coffee and the community gave back — raising $1210 for the Sooke Food Bank!
