Reflecting on 2025; some stats and thank you’s

2025 in Review

Happy New Year! As we reflect on the last year at the Sooke Food Bank, we as a group are so blown away by how amazing our community is. There was a point this year that we were unsure if we were going to be able to support as many families, couples, individuals, and seniors as we did.

In 2025:

  • We served over 4867 families.
  • We served over 10,000 pounds of fruit to our schools.
  • We were open for 34 food bank days.
  • Plus an additional 63 days of emergency hampers.
  • We served over 400 hampers for Christmas.

Without our community’s support, none of this would have happened. We are blessed to have been part of so many fundraisers including food drives, toy drives, silent auctions, concerts and events, and raffles. A special thank you to all of the businesses (big and small), local artists and entrepreneurs who donated to the silent auction to make it so successful.

To our community that has grown into something extra extraordinary this year. New friendships, new volunteers, endless laughter, late nights, endless coffee and tea. We are so blessed to call you all family.

From the bottom or our heart, THANK YOU to all of our supporters!
